Timo joined Eleva in 2026 as Director Lead Discovery, overseeing cell line development and the identification of novel therapeutic candidates. He studied Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the Free University of Berlin.

Before joining Eleva, Timo held scientific and leadership roles in several biotechnology companies, ranging from start-ups to clinical-stage organizations. With 20 years of experience across academia and industry, he brings extensive expertise in cell culture technologies and drug discovery, spanning genetic engineering, cell production, protein expression, and complex in vitro models to advance programs from target identification through candidate selection.
